Honey-Baked Brie with Walnuts Recipe
Ingredients:
1 round of Brie cheese (about 8 to 12 ounces)
2 to 3 tablespoons of honey
1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
Baguette slices or crackers for serving
Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place the Brie on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper or in a small nonstick baking dish.
Drizzle the Brie evenly with honey. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts all over the top.
Bake the Brie in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese has softened and is starting to melt, and the walnuts are toasted and fragrant.
Remove the Brie from the oven and let it sit for about 5 minutes to cool slightly.
Garnish with a sprig of fresh thyme or rosemary if desired, and serve warm with baguette slices or crackers.
Enjoy this melty, sweet and savory Honey-Baked Brie with Walnuts as an appetizer or part of a cheese platter!
Please note: When eating Brie, the rind is perfectly edible. However, if you prefer not to eat the rind, you can cut the top off the round of Brie before baking, which will make it easier to dip into the melted cheese.
